EOTO plays Limelight Nashville on Nov. 27.
“Live dubstep.” We’ve gotten a bit of that this year already, no? What with the massive Bassnectar gig at Limelight in September and the “Strictly Dubstep” volumes at Mercy Lounge.
But EOTO's show really is live dubstep, provided by two members of jam-rock favorite String Cheese Incident who improvise tidal waves of beats and bass within a fortress of traditional instruments, synthesizers, strobe lights and screens.
EOTO comes to Nashville on Saturday, Nov. 27 for a show at Limelight Nashville (201 Woodland St., 780-3099). It starts at 8 p.m., and tickets run $12-$15.
